Into the Mystic

As I’ve told you before, I have a story in the second volume of Into the Mystic, the lesbian/bisexual paranormal anthologies series NineStar Press is publishing. Have you seen the cover for this volume? It’s gorgeous!

There are ten stories in this anthology, each of them with a unique theme. My short, The Holy Company, takes place in Spain where the two main characters are doing a pilgrimage.  There, they will come face to face with a Spanish myth. I wrote this because mythology has always fascinated me, and that legend in particular always manages to make my hair stand on end. I hope you’ll like it, and I’ll look forward to hearing if it’s scared you!

Here’s a bit more of what you can expect from this story: it’s a friend to lovers romance, and one of the main characters is biromantic and demisexual.

So if paranormal romance and girls in love with other girls sound like something that would interest you, you can preorder the anthology here. You can also add it to Goodreads if that’s your thing. It’ll be out on October 16th.

I’ll be doing a few giveaways around release day, so watch this space!

Preorder link and a new contract

Hello there!

My first book, The Sun Still Rises, is up for preorder on Dreamspinner Press, due to be released on May 17. Here’s the link, if you fancy reading about a tourist finding love in a city full of people:

I’ve got some news too – good news I hope! I recently signed a contract with Nine Star Press for a short story I wrote. It’s a short story, a bit of paranormal romance between two girls, one of whom is demisexual. And it’s also set in Spain (are you noticing a trend here?) It’ll be published around October in one of Nine Star Press anthologies, and I’m excited for you all to read them!

Now it’s back to writing for me! See you around next time 🙂

Book News: Cover and Blurb for The Sun Still Rises

Hello everyone! I get a rush everytime I share something about this book – my first one, I’m still finding it difficult to believe. I’m incredibly thankful to Dreamspinner Press for giving it – and me – a chance. I hope readers will do the same. I put a lot of myself in this story, and I think it shows, but I may be slightly biased.

I’m here today to show you the cover (although I’ve already shared it all over Social Media) and the blurb for The Sun Still Rises, which is being relased on May 17 from Dreamspinner Press. It’s part of their World of Love series, a series featuring love stories in various and different countries.

Here’s the cover, designed by the amazing Brooke Albrecht, who listened to all my comments and gave me this amazing final design.

And finally, here’s the blurb. I hope you it makes you as excited for this story as I am!

Erik’s father lived for Pamplona’s yearly festival and the running of the bulls. Now he’s gone, and Erik flies to Pamplona on a whim to see the festival his father loved—without booking a room first. He’s looking at sleeping on the ground until friendly David from the tourism office offers to share his home.

When Erik realizes he trusts David, that he might even be willing to face his anxiety to get to know David better, he begins to understand what this trip could mean. Pamplona is even more beautiful when seen through David’s eyes, and Erik might have traveled around the world just to find himself. But can he hold on to his newfound confidence—and to David—when it’s time to go home?

There’ll be giveaways coming once release date comes closer, so watch this space!

Best kind of news – contract signed.

A week ago I was dreaming about having to write a post like this one; now I can make that dream a reality and I have no idea what I should be saying.

If you follow me on Social Media, you’re probably sick of reading this, since I’ve been bouncing up and down everywhere since yesterday. But this is me making it “official”, because there are still moments when I don’t believe it myself.

The best kind of news I want to share with you is that yesterday I signed a contract with Dreamspinner Press for my novella The Sun Still Rises, which will be published as part of their World of Love collection.

We’re probably looking at a May/June 2017 release, so it’ll be a while until you get to read the story, but I’m excited to be sharing it with all of you. It’s my first longish story, and I put a lot of myself in it. It’s a romance about two men, but it’s also me sharing my love for my city.

That said, I’m terrified because now all of you will be able to read this story. I may have to hide under a rock once it’s been released, because I’m not sure I’m really prepared to deal with it. But I’ve got time to get used to the idea, so maybe hiding won’t be necessary.

That’s what I wanted to tell you today. I promise I’ll come back as soon as I’ve got more information to share. And I want to thank you all for sharing my excitement 😀
